Venetian Kamara in Old Town, is a brand new place for our office located in the heart of the City Center of Chania. Its advantageous location is right in the Venetian Port, the apartment a stone’s throw from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour, as well as just a few minutes from the main attractions, thus making it an ideal base to explore the scenic Chania Town and the surrounding areas. Venetian Kamara in Old Town is on the ground level and can host up to 5 guests, as there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, TV in each bedroom and a sofa which we can make it as a bed. As you get into the apartment there is the living room with a Smart TV 55″ and air – condition in every bedroom. Next to the living room there is a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen area with a refrigerator, a kitchen, an electric kettle, a sandwich maker, toaster oven, a filter coffee machine, a dish washer and a juicer maker. Next to the bedrooms there is one full bathroom with showers and washing machine, iron with an ironing board. On the back balcony there is an outdoor sitting set to enjoy your meals under the Greek sun. At your disposal there is a roof garden with an amazing city view which is shared. At the roof garden there is an outdoor sofa, a sitting table with chairs and a barbeque with gas. The accommodation provides free linen, towels, free Wi-Fi access 24mbps, parking on the public road, a clothes rack, a hairdryer. At the square there are huge plane trees and there is a catacomb. During Ottoman rule, under the plane tree, there was an octagonal Arabian kiosk, to which the aristocrats of the Turkish state had the right to sit. Now there is a monument in honor of Greek Christians who were tortured and killed at this point during the Greek Revolution. After excavations that took place, a large tank was found in the catacomb. In the Venetians and the Turks, an underground fountain was constructed and used as a ritual space. Today, on the perimeter of the square, small cafes and taverns are housed, while the huge plane tree offers rich shade and coolness during the summer months.
